Heating and air conditioning in Centennial
Centennial became a city in 2001, but most of its houses are older, from 1970s Southglenn and Walnut Hills to 1980s and 1990s Willow Creek, Homestead and the Smoky Hill side. Priya covers the west half and Marcus the east.

Homes we work on in Centennial
Two-story homes from the 1980s and 1990s
Often one furnace and one air conditioner for 2,500 square feet or more. Upstairs runs hot in summer, and a second zone or a ductless head upstairs usually fixes it.
1970s homes in Southglenn and Walnut Hills
Ranches and split-levels on their second or third furnace, with ducts that have never been sealed.
Homes with two systems
Bigger houses east of I‑25 often have two furnaces and two condensers. We test both on one visit, and the second one is half price on a plan.
What we fix most often in Centennial
- HOA approvals
- Some HOAs ask for approval before an outdoor unit changes size or place. We send them the spec sheet and a placement drawing.
- Leaky ducts in attics and crawl spaces
- Where ducts run through unheated space, sealing the joints cuts both the hot-upstairs problem and the energy bill.
- Equipment from the 1990s boom
- The furnaces and air conditioners installed when these neighborhoods went up are at or past the end of their life.
How fast we get there

Not the cheapest quote we got, and the install date was two weeks out. But the permit was pulled, the inspection passed on the first try and the warranty is registered in my name.

Can you add air conditioning upstairs only?
Yes. A one-room ductless system runs $5,400 to $7,900 installed. Sometimes a duct change on the existing system does the job for less, and we check that first.
Do you charge more to come to Centennial?
No. Anywhere in our area the visit is $89 during office hours, credited to the repair if you go ahead the same day, and $179 at night, on Sundays and on holidays.
